EBIKE SEIZURE

During hotspot patrols on Friday 24 April 2026, officers seized an electric Sur‑Ron bike after it was identified as being used unlawfully.

The bike was found to be:

An electric off‑road motorcycle

Not road legal

Being used within a public area

The vehicle was subsequently seized under S165 of the Road Traffic Act.

This forms part of our ongoing hotspot patrol activity in the area of Kirkholt, to tackle:

Antisocial behaviour

Illegal use of off‑road vehicles

Community safety concerns
